a study of/with three pronouns
it started with the "she" between 2019 and 2021: the "she" was the more-than-one person who arises from the fact that their ("my") creativity affects another ("her"). Therefore the "she" is not one's identity, but "her" relation to oneself as more-than-one.
From 2022 no pronoun became the title of different sketches and declarations of intent for a film dedicated to pronouns as relational entities – where and when the "me" depends from "her", or the "we" is born in real, between concrete persons –: a film based on performative interaction, teaching and learning, negotiation, translation and transfer.
The current status of the study focuses on relational subjects such as: the fascination for creativity ("she"), the desire to learn from you ("we") and the necessity of overcoming vulnerability ("me") and, of course, the – possibly hurtful – question of identity. The "me" in particular intends to express a position precisely where/when it rejects negating and affirming attributions of identity, in a transitory form of identity deficit, a possible invulnerability.
As performers for no pronoun – a study (ANI HIYA WE) acted Hans Diernberger, Alma El Bendary, Guillermo Heinze, Nadine Karl, Valeria Risi, Anne Schöne, Anne Schülke, Franziska Windisch.
